Head Position in the Golf Finish
In the finish position, we also need to consider the head position. An incorrect head position can damage the cervical spine and reduce power at the same time. To avoid damage to the cervical spine, the head should face the target after the ball impact and follow the ball flight for at least 3 to 7 seconds.
Avoid to Direct the Head Too Long Towards the Ground
If the head is too long directed towards the ball position of the ball impact, the body below the cervical spine would continue to rotate and thus increase the torsion stress on the cervical spine.
Too much torsional force also slows down the forward movement and thus reduces the power of your golf swing.
